Coordinate all cultural and language programming at our locations, ensuring alignment with ENAGB’s mission and value. ? Administration of the land based programming, including bookkeeping, procurement of supplies and logistical support for the activities. ? Seek and apply for funding to continue and enhance our culture/language programming. ? Promoting the programming through various channels such as individual emails, Facebook and Instagram and more. ? Register the youth that are not registered to ENAGB, Providing them with opportunities to learn about their specific cultures. ? Offer support and guidance to youth with diverse backgrounds and needs, facilitating their exploration and understanding of their cultural heritage. ? Input all programming data into our database system to track participation and support. ? Adhere to the policies and procedures of ENAGB Youth Program. ? Other related duties as it related to the position. QualificationsQualifications: ? Cultural programming knowledge and experience of 2 years. ? Must have extensive knowledge of Indigenous (Inuit, Metis or First Nation) history/background. ? Fluent in an Indigenous language and knowledge of Indigenous cultures is an asset. ? Able to work evenings and weekends. ? Adequate energy and ability to meet the physical demands of the job. ? Valid Standard First Aid and CPR. ? A cleared Criminal Reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. ? A valid G license. ? A positive, fun-loving attitude. ? The ability to work as a team and be self-motivated.
