Overview Artika is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Supply Planner will be responsible for managing purchasing and planning activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods across our operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate demand and supply plans. Key Responsibilities Issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers in alignment with sales forecasts and business requirements. Monitor and ensure supplier lead times are respected, proactively addressing delays or risks. Participate in the planning of major programs to align demand forecasts with production capacity. Communicate relevant updates and potential risks to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. Monitor rolling demand and supply plans, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with other departments. Partner with Sales to ensure timely processing of new orders, modifications, and order expediting. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, and replenishment terms. Prepare and analyze container loadings to meet customer needs while optimizing logistics costs, leveraging internal systems and tools. Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. Maintain and update supply chain documentation, standard operating procedures, and compliance records. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain management. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with supply chain software/tools is an asset. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
