Team Lead, Procurement Manage a team of Associate and Intermediate-level supply chain professionals responsible for lifecycle procurement activities for systems, equipment, and materials for the Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships (AOPS) program. This role ensures safety, schedule adherence, cost optimization, and maximizes Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) throughout the Design & Manufacturing (D&M) phase. Responsibilities Ensure consistent, high-quality procurement practices across all lifecycle stages. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with program goals. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance and accountability. Develop and lead a high-performing team through engagement, skill-building, and competency development. Provide structured and ad‑hoc reporting to support organizational visibility and decision‑making. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in business or a related field. Minimum 7 years of supply chain experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments. Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving results. Strong background in Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and professional. Supplier performance management (safety, quality, delivery, cost) Contracting principles and competitive bidding law Project management, scheduling, and change management Stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional communication. Additional Requirements All successful applicants must meet the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
