Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton. Reporting directly to the Student Recruitment Service Partner for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Student Recruiter position will work as part of a dedicated action team that will support all undergraduate student recruitment activities within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (which includes Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, and Alberta School of Business). As an important team member within Student Recruitment in the Office of the Registrar, the Student Recruiter position at the College-level is responsible for the dissemination of information and effective promotion of the University of Alberta to prospective high school and post-secondary transfer students. This exciting and diverse position is also responsible for event planning, preparing and delivering presentations, answering prospective student and applicant email inquiries, advising, organizing and executing administrative recruitment details, researching recruitment trends, and more. These duties enable us to recruit exceptional prospective students to the faculties within the College of Social Sciences & Humanities, as well as to the broader university. The hours of work for this position will be varied, including a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends.
