Job Description The VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) is a unique worldwide program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe & Foreign Affairs, Economy & Finance, and Ecology & Territorial Cohesion. It allows Airbus Atlantic to offer young professionals a paid and rewarding experience abroad in a technical or commercial role. The program runs for 6 to 24 months, depending on assignment location. We are looking to fill a VIE contract for Analyste en ingénierie des Matériaux et Procédés for a period of 1 year (renewable for a second year) at Airbus Atlantic Canada in Mirabel, Canada . Responsibilities Intervenir and provide technical disposition to resolve non-conformity problems of parts, installations, and assembly line issues. Develop and validate test plans with laboratories, and draft test reports and analysis of results. Participate in the analysis and implementation of engineering documentation changes with engineering teams, manufacturing preparation, production, supply chain and partners. Make technical decisions regarding materials, manufacturing processes, and verification of parts and assemblies. Participate in strategic development projects of the study office. Engage in redesign activities, investigate and collaborate on new environmental regulations affecting the product. Work with the multidisciplinary engineering team on design and stress analysis. Support R&D activities at the site. Operate within the company’s quality references and standards; provide visibility to hierarchy and program with technical summaries, progress status, risk and opportunity identification. Qualifications Training in Materials & Processes; experience in the aeronautical sector and proficiency in Catia V5 are major assets. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in aeronautics, especially at assembly and fixings level. High operational rigor and natural curiosity to explore new technical solutions. Ability to work autonomously and in a team, adapting communication to each interlocutor. Strong conviction to argue technical aspects with civility and pedagogy. Acknowledgment of limits and ability to seek expert support at appropriate times. Proficient in French and English to work comfortably in our international context.
