Duties and Responsibilities Report to the Regional Director and provide leadership and support in policy interpretation, case management, program recommendations, operational planning, and financial management and administration. Provide knowledge and direction for crisis management, intervention and issue resolution in the provision of supports and services. Oversee Community Living Disability Services, Employment and Income Assistance, and Children’s Disability Services. Qualifications Essential: Post‑secondary degree in Social Sciences (BSW preferred) or equivalent education and experience. Experience in human resource management with ability to supervise a service delivery team (attendance, performance management, orientation, training, coaching, development). Leadership experience in a social service delivery environment (administration of programs, service delivery to clients, planning and evaluation). Case management experience in a social services setting. Experience with interpretation, evaluation and implementation of policies, processes and procedures. Strong interpersonal skills to develop, foster and maintain respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills including synthesis of information and making recommendations. Strong political acumen to manage confidential and politically sensitive material appropriately. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety of audiences. Excellent organizational skills to manage, prioritize and meet competing deadlines. Desired: Knowledge of The Adults Living with an Intellectual Disability Act, The Social Services Administration Act, The Manitoba Assistance Act, The Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
