The engineer will be embedded with a cross‑functional team in St‑Bruno, delivering engineering reports and calculations aligned with North American rail standards and quality processes. Key Responsibilities Perform Static, Dynamic, and Fatigue structural calculations using Hypermesh for meshing and OptiStruct for analysis. Prepare and release calculation reports and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with customer project methodology and rail standards. Align with customer engineering processes and quality assurance requirements. Execute formal deliverable protocols and change control procedures. Support workload planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Provide weekly status reports and participate in team meetings. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Structural Engineering. 5–8+ years in structural calculations (rail or heavy industry preferred). Experience with fatigue and static analysis tools/methods. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Bilingual (English/French) is an asset. Proficiency with Hypermesh for meshing and OptiStruct for analysis.
