The Procurement Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of a specific set of commodities and vendors to support Noble in their network operations. Compensation: $100K-$120K Location: Concord, ON Duration: Permanent Placement How you Contribute to Noble's Success Meet and exceed assigned performance goals, including cost savings, working capital, and efficiency improvements in order to support overall Procurement department goals. Perform strategic sourcing activities, including but not limited to, data collection and review, market and vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and execution, monitoring compliance and performance. Conduct supplier proposal analysis, negotiations, awards, and implementations. Considerable interaction with internal customers to understand requirements and identify and implement solutions and cost savings initiatives. Monitor and manage supplier performance and keep Operations abreast of potential supply chain risks. Manage interactions between internal groups (Operations, Transportation, Materials Management, etc.) for efficient and timely ordering and delivery of goods and services. Support teams in conducting negotiations with financial/bid analysis. Attend conferences, forums, demonstrations and exhibits to maintain professional competence and to keep current with technical literature. Constantly source and evaluate new innovative suppliers' abilities and capacities within assigned commodities. Occasional travel domestically and internationally, may be required. Must Haves and Nice to Haves Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. SCMP designation or equivalent is a strong asset. 7-10 years of experience in a procurement function, at least 5 years in strategic roles (sourcing, commodities, vendor management).
