Overview We’re looking for a Financial Fraud Analyst to lead the development and execution of our fraud prevention strategy. In this role, you will leverage data, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud while strengthening enterprise fraud risk controls. Your Mandate Develop and enhance the organization’s fraud prevention and detection framework. Identify emerging fraud risks through data analysis, trend monitoring, and pattern detection. Evaluate and improve controls, processes, and monitoring capabilities to reduce fraud exposure. Partner with Risk, Operations, and Credit teams to ensure a coordinated approach to fraud management. Lead fraud investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Deliver insightful reporting and analysis on fraud trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Provide data-driven recommendations that strengthen fraud monitoring and prevention. Build Awareness Develop fraud policies, procedures, and training materials. Support staff through training and guidance on fraud detection and prevention practices. Promote a culture of fraud awareness and risk management across the organization. Background Expectations Bachelor’s degree with Risk Management, Data Analytics, Criminology, or a related field. Experience in fraud prevention, fraud analysis, or credit risk management. Certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are preferred. Strong knowledge of fraud risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and investigation practices. Experience with data analytics and reporting tools. Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and translate insights into action. Compensation and Process The salary band for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. Our client works on a hybrid work model.
