Overview Industrial Electrical Engineer (CEP) - Relocation to Sept-Îles at BBA Consultants. This role supports project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, collaborating with offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire. The team focuses on mining, metals and energy sectors, offering cutting-edge technical expertise in operating and maintaining industrial power systems. Type de poste : Regular Responsibilities Assist industrial clients in day-to-day operations in the field: troubleshooting, root cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management Perform site surveys Participate in equipment testing and commissioning Conduct short-circuit, power flow, protection coordination, arc-flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses; perform steady-state and transient analyses in industrial power systems Design and read various electrical drawings Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and reports Attend internal or client coordination meetings Participate in project management (costs, schedules, labour, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or equivalent) Three or fewer years of relevant engineering experience Available for short-term work assignments between Sept-Îles and our Labrador City office, depending on business needs Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments with our clients across Québec and the rest of Canada Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other database applications Advanced level of English to collaborate with BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally Advanced level of French to collaborate with BBA offices and/or clients in Québec Ability to draft technical documents in both languages Asset: Graduate from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE) Asset: Onsite experience related to industrial networks Asset: Knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME or EMTP-RV software Benefits Annual base salary and premium program for regular employees Time bank; onsite mobility premium Cellphone program; group insurance with short-term and long-term disability Retirement savings plan; vacation and sick leave Referral program benefits About BBA For over 40 years, we’ve pushed the boundaries of engineering in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
