About the Role We are seeking an experienced Recommissioning Engineer to support building performance optimization, decarbonization initiatives, and energy‑efficiency projects across commercial, multi‑unit residential, industrial, and institutional facilities. This role combines in‑depth engineering analysis, on‑site assessments, and client‑facing advisory work to deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute building recommissioning, retro‑commissioning , and decarbonization projects Conduct energy audits (ASHRAE Level I, II, and III) Develop and support decarbonization strategies and energy transition plans Analyze HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems to identify performance gaps Prepare technical reports, savings calculations, and incentive documentation Support clients through utility incentive programs and funding applications Perform on‑site inspections , functional testing, and verification Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Engineering preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in recommissioning, energy efficiency, or sustainable building projects P.Eng. designation (licensed in Canada) required or in progress Proven experience with: Building energy audits Decarbonization and GHG reduction initiatives Utility incentive programs Preferred Certifications Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) Existing Building Commissioning Professional (EBCP) Additional Requirements Valid driver’s licence and access to a car (required for site visits) Strong technical writing and reporting skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Comfortable communicating with clients and project stakeholders Build your career with us and enjoy… A culture built on collaboration , knowledge sharing , talent development, and the quality of our work.
