You may also apply through our website: Role Overview TO START ASAP. This is a WORKING CHEF role, located at a remote fly-in mining facility or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan. We cover the costs of your transportation, meals, & accommodations while at site. Shift work & compressed workweeks required; schedules are 2-week in-and-out rotations with 11-hour days. Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team. Manage food costs and inventory. Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance. Qualifications Experience with kitchen management within the service industry. Experience shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps. Knowledge of vegan, halal, and gluten allergy variation cooking skills. Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Camp Manager programs. Valid driver’s license preferred. Current first responder certificate would be an asset.
