Position Overview Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader the Electrical Designer or Engineer is responsible for developing solutions for of our Municipal and Industrial Water Treatment technologies. You will be supported by a team of professionals to help develop innovative new products as well as improve upon our existing base of market leading products. Growth opportunities within our global business will allow the right candidate to develop into a technical leader by leveraging their specialized expertise, providing mentorship to junior designers and other cross functional disciplines, and by supporting the larger sales, production, and service organization. Location This position is part of the Engineering team located in London, ON and will be on-site. Typical Day Develop electrical systems and industrial control panels that require an understanding of UL508A. Responsible for the electrical design of a product development or product enhancement from conceptual design to early lifecycle Produce professional electrical schematics for systems and industrial control panels, P&IDs, process flow diagrams and other engineering documentation, build rapid prototypes of product concepts to illustrate design concepts Champion testing and field verification of products Essential Requirements Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or a Degree in Electrical Engineering Proficient using AutoCAD 2D Understanding of UL508A standard. Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and strong facilitation / presentation skill Salary The base salary range for this role is $80-100k CAD annually.
