Reporting to the Vice-President of Finance, the Financial Controller holds a key strategic and operational role in the company’s financial management. They oversee all financial, accounting, and internal control activities within a fast-paced, multi-project environment. They also play a pivotal role in streamlining processes and tools—bringing forward ideas and recommendations to advance the accounting function and drive the company’s ongoing digital transformation. Oversee the full accounting cycle (general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll); Prepare monthly and annual financial statements along with other financial reports; Track project costs and analyze variances; Supervise the accounting technician team; Manage and optimize cash flow; Implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency; Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team; Develop and mentor team members; Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across the team; Oversee internal financial controls, accounting processes, and tax compliance; Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, perform analysis, and adjust forecasts; Coordinate cost control initiatives; Design, implement, and continuously improve financial management processes. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, management, or business administration; 5+ years of experience as a controller or financial director; Bilingual (French and English); Experience implementing an ERP system is considered an asset; Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and engage teams; Advanced knowledge of accounting and taxation; Experience in the construction industry within a multi-project environment is an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
