In this role, you’ll help lead some of our biggest consumer and B2B technology accounts, while building strong client relationships and driving results. This role is responsible for driving the success of client relationships; developing a deep understanding of their businesses to develop programs that deliver tangible results for them. You would be responsible for working with cross‑functional teams in the planning and executional oversight of strategic earned media and digital initiatives, including the development of campaigns, content creation and measuring the effectiveness of our initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage day‑to‑day relationships with key clients as their “go‑to” at Weber ShandwickOwn responsibilities for executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, timelines and plansAssist in the development of long‑term client plans and program recommendations, developing budgets and generating recommendationsDrive development of end‑to‑end campaign plans, translating strategies into tactics; ensure team deliverables align with strategiesProactively support and suggest improvements to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experienceManage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of workDevelop and manage timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are metBuild and own productive relationships with multiple stakeholders (e.g. brand managers), interagency teams, and a diverse array of agency colleaguesMaintain profitability and financial health of client relationshipsMotivate the team by bringing a positive, solutions‑focused attitude to everything you doLead a high‑performing team and mentor junior team membersKey Qualifications8-10 years of communications experience, ideally with a focus on technology and/or telecom industriesAgency experience (strongly preferred) and/or experience with leading tech brandsExcellent knowledge of the Canadian media and social landscapeAre both a creative and a strategic thinkerA track record in building strong client relationships and leading teams that deliver resultsProven experience building teams, empathetically managing and mentoring junior staff and working as a team‑player in a cross‑functional settingSalary Range:CAD $95,000 - CAD $130,000Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.Webber Shandwick is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
