Responsibilities PRIMARY PURPOSE Provides functional support and advisory services to business users for development, implementation, maintenance and upgrading of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and related interfaces. Supports management decision‑making processes across CMBC by ensuring that users have the necessary support and training to effectively use the EAM system. Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and system‑related changes. Key Accountabilities Act as the first point of contact and provide day‑to‑day support for end users on EAM, including incident investigation and functional integration support. Develop business and system process documentation and training materials; facilitate training for designated EAM users across CMBC. Provide functional support for implementation and maintenance of the EAM system, reporting and integrated interfaces with other maintenance systems. Administer EAM user security, manage security administration processes and provide role‑configuration requirements. Liaise with system users to conduct reporting requirements analyses for standard and customised reports or queries. Provide technical expertise to prepare and support various reports necessary for management decision‑making. Perform functional application configuration updates. Act as a subject‑matter expert, identify opportunities to streamline and improve the EAM system, and work with user groups to create functional design specifications for system processes, reporting or interfaces. Lead user acceptance testing and integration testing for implementations, upgrades and enhancements, develop and execute test scenarios, provide analysis and make recommendations. Coordinate cross‑functional team activities to resolve complex interface issues in a timely manner. Review and document business processes; develop and implement recommendations for efficient and accurate maintenance information processing. Prepare presentations and information for users on proposed EAM system changes and deliver them as assigned. Accountable for data standards and user security related to the EAM system, including user access management and data dictionary updates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related discipline with coursework in information technology. Five (5) years of progressive experience in a large organisation with an enterprise asset management system. Solid knowledge and experience of EAM system features, processes and concepts. Proficiency with reporting tools such as Power BI, Cognos and SQL. Experience with Agile methodology and working with Agile teams. Strong analytical skills for monitoring and tracking enterprise asset management systems and conducting incident investigations. Excellent interpersonal skills for advising users and gathering requirements for functional design specifications. Time‑management and organisational skills to coordinate support and reporting activities for multiple projects. Experience in system administration and user‑security administration. Strong writing skills to develop training and business/system process documentation and verbal communication skills for working with user groups. Work Schedule 37.5 hours per week. Work Designation Hybrid – flexibility to work both on‑site and remotely within B.C. Rate of Pay Salary range: $84,480 – $126,720 per annum, based on education, experience, skills and qualifications. Total compensation includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrolment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
