Position Overview We are seeking an Academic Outpatient Psychiatrist with specialized expertise in mood disorders and CBT, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to join the Mood Disorders Clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The candidate will hold a full‑time academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto and will be expected to participate in clinical, teaching and research activities. Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychiatric services to patients with mood disorders. Deliver evidence‑based cognitive‑behavioral therapy, including newer forms such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Participate in the department’s psychiatry call system and academic teaching program. Engage in community outreach and patient care coordination. Lead or support research projects and contribute to scholarly publications. Qualifications MD degree. Royal College/Board Certification or eligibility in Psychiatry and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Experience in treating mood disorders with psychopharmacology. Completed training in CBT, including newer forms. Ability to adapt care culturally for diverse communities. Track record of excellence in teaching and mentorship. Compensation and Funding Salary range: $400,000–$450,000 per annum. Compensation is based on a fee‑for‑service structure with additional funding through Academic and Educational Trust Funds and/or department‑sanctioned administrative roles.
