You will be a product expert and will be working in close collaboration with each member of the consulting and development teams. You will also be involved in the various phases of the implementation cycle, analyzing client needs, customizing and configuring solutions, and training users. Moreover, you will apply your analytical and consulting expertise by being involved directly in large‑scale projects and client support.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients to analyze and understand their needsProduce analysis reports detailing your conclusions and recommendationsImplement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its add‑on products specializing in municipal software (SylogistGOV)Configure, support, and document 365 Business Central and SylogistGOVDevelop training materials and conduct training sessions for end‑usersProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end‑users (post‑implementation support)Provide onsite/offsite consulting services and support to Dynamics 365 Business Central/SylogistGOV clientsActively work on resolving technical issues and establishing improved solutionsPerform other related tasks relevant to the deployment and support of the solutions in the client’s environmentWork closely with technical staff to define and document user requirements and functional specificationsParticipate in product demonstrations during the sales processQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV implementation, including hands‑on configuration and customizationCPA or other accounting designation is an asset or equivalent experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsExperience in a consulting environment strongly preferredExperience with municipal accountingKnowledge of financial regulations is an assetAbility to learn new business processes or applications very quicklyMunicipal software experience is an asset, specifically with utilities and/or property taxesAbility to collaborate with customers to understand business processes, gather functional requirements, and translate requirements into a business applicationExcellent presentation and communication skills to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, for C‑level management, public groups, and/or board of directors (direct client interaction remotely, in‑person or by telephone)Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self‑motivation, and a desire to succeedAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAdvanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experienceGeneral Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, MS Business Intelligence)Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a Predictive Index survey as part of the application process.Travel is required; a reliable vehicle is necessary.
