We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Specialist to support our operations team through a full range of HR functions. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality HR services, fostering employee engagement, and driving continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Full-cycle recruitmentCoordinate onboarding and trainingProvide high quality HR advice and service to operations team on a regular basis with respect to employee relations and performance management issuesProvide expertise in the following areas: high volume recruitment, data analysis, employee relations, employee engagement, health & safetyGenerate reports as neededContinuously review and improve processesShare HR best practices with colleagues and mentor to bolster succession planWork with local People and Culture team, and other key business functions to support operations and advance the P&C mandateAs part of overarching retention and succession planning, provide guidance to EEs regarding career development within the company whether through submissions to the Career Coach or via site visitsCoordinate and plan employee recognition events including the Annual Christmas Party, and the 4 Pillars of GivingPerform other duties as requested to assist with branch needsServe as a representative of Paladin and assist with developing long-term partnerships with various Indigenous groups and organizationsQualifications:Proven ability to embrace change and adversity in a rapidly growing and changing environmentDiploma in Business Management or Human Resource considered an assetMinimum of 3 years of experience in Human ResourcesCommitment to exceptional customer service and professionalismStrong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookKnowledge and understanding of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights LegislationConflict resolution experience is considered an important assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPay based on experience and performanceFlexible work arrangements, and in office on average 4 days per weekCompany benefit planEducation Requirements (All) High School Diploma/GED Certificate, Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources#J-18808-Ljbffr
