What is the opportunity? As a Technical Systems Specialist on the BPM Middleware hosting team, you will work to install and support the Pega Infrastructure within RBC. This team is responsible for supporting the Pega Infrastructure platform deployed on both IBM WebSphere and Redhat OpenShift Cloud Platform. What will you do? Install and build new Pega environments. Upgrade Pega to the latest version to stay current and supported. Support and maintain the existing Pega platform to ensure high uptime availability. Be part of an on‑call rotation in supporting the Pega platform 24/7. Maintain the security of the infrastructure by promptly remediating vulnerabilities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues promptly. Implement security best practices and stay updated on the latest industry trends. Create automation to assist with patching and security hardening to stay in compliance. What do you need to succeed? Must‑have Operational support experience of IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTPD Server. Operational support experience working with cloud‑based deployments for Pega. Experience with Ansible Automation Platform and OpenShift. Problem experience with devops pipeline deployments. Proven experience in Unix Server administration and troubleshooting. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice‑to‑have Working experience with GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts. Experience with security scan platforms Tenable and Aqua Security.
