Role Description Sr Azure Data Specialist, Lead II - Data Engineering at UST. The Opportunity Supports the acquisition and ingestion of data Articulates technical design and development details to non-technical business partners Elicits, analyzes, and understands business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions under the guidance of senior peers and managers, including data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data life‑cycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata Ensures data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines Develops and maintains data models using industry standard modelling tools Develops and maintains ETL jobs using enterprise‑standard tools and platforms What You Need Strong experience with production engineering and support tasks, and can leverage automation and AI‑driven approaches to improve reliability and reduce the effort required to manage production environments Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data ASP Connectors: TIBCO, On‑Prem SQL, SharePoint, Shared Folders DevOps: Strong infrastructure and Azure release engineering skills Languages: Python, PySpark Banking domain experience strongly desired Azure DevOps – 5+ years Unity Catalog – 2 years Azure Databricks – 5+ years Azure Data Factory – 5+ years Compensation and Benefits Role Location: Ontario. Compensation Range: $104,000–$130,000. Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
