Position Summary The Business Analysis Manager is responsible for leading the business analytics function across warehousing, logistics, procurement, and supply chain operations. This role serves as a strategic business partner to operations and leadership teams by providing data-driven insights, financial analysis, project management, and decision support to improve service levels, optimize costs, and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead a team of Business Analysts (BA) and Data Analysts (DA), establish robust business analysis frameworks, manage multiple strategic initiatives, and ensure analytical outputs are translated into actionable business results. Key Responsibilities 1. Budget Planning & Financial Management • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the business. • Develop budget models and financial planning mechanisms to support operational and strategic decision-making. • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting and cost control. 2. Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency • Identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities through data analysis and business insights. • Conduct root cause analysis of operational costs and performance drivers. • Develop business cases and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, resource utilization, and profitability. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and track realized savings against targets. 3. Business Analytics & Decision Support • Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, procurement, inventory management, and cross-border e-commerce fulfillment. • Provide analytical support and strategic recommendations to improve customer experience, operational performance, and financial results. • Transform complex datasets into actionable insights that support business decision-making at all organizational levels. 4. Analytics Governance & System Development • Establish and maintain KPI systems, reporting frameworks, business dashboards, and performance scorecards. • Standardize business metrics, reporting definitions, and analytical methodologies across departments. • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and alignment between operational and financial reporting. 5. Analytics Demand Management & Prioritization • Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts supporting Warehouse Operations, Logistics Operations, Procurement, and other business functions. • Establish governance processes to intake, evaluate, prioritize, and execute analytical requests across the organization. • Allocate resources effectively to ensure focus on the highest-impact business initiatives. 6. Project Management & Business Case Leadership • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, including ROI analysis, business case development, budget planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, and benefits realization. • Ensure projects deliver expected operational, financial, and customer experience outcomes. 7. Analytics Quality Assurance & Reporting Excellence • Review, validate, and challenge analytical methodologies, assumptions, findings, and recommendations. • Verify project outcomes and measure realized business value against planned objectives. • Ensure reports, dashboards, and presentations are executive-friendly, actionable, and results-focused. 8. Team Leadership & Talent Development • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts. • Establish analytical best practices, knowledge-sharing processes, and team operating standards. • Foster a data-driven culture across the organization. 9. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, HR, Product, and Technology teams. • Coordinate data collection, business requirements, and analytical initiatives across multiple stakeholders. • Align business and financial perspectives to ensure consistent planning, reporting, and decision-making. 10. Strategic Planning & Executive Support • Support senior leadership with strategic planning, scenario modeling, capacity planning, and long-term business forecasting. • Prepare executive-level analyses and presentations to support key business decisions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field required. • MBA or Master’s degree preferred. • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, financial analysis, supply chain analytics, or related fields. • 2+ years of people management experience leading analytical teams. • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and cross-border e-commerce operations. • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines. • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.
