The SAP BODS Developer supports Client’s data integration and analytics landscape by designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions that move data from SAP and non-SAP systems into enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms. The role focuses on data accuracy, performance, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability within a utility environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP BODS ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from: SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA (IS-U, FI, CO, PM) Metering, billing, customer information systems (CIS) Legacy and third-party applications Build and manage: Dataflows, workflows, scripts, and transforms Error-handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms Optimize BODS jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability in batch and near–real-time processing Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to meet regulatory and audit requirements Support data integration for: Gas distribution operations Regulatory reporting (Ontario Energy Board / compliance reporting) Finance, asset management, and customer analytics Collaborate with: Business analysts and data architects SAP functional teams Reporting and BI teams (BW, Power BI, SAP BO) Participate in: SDLC activities (design, development, testing, deployment) Production support, incident resolution, and performance tuning Maintain technical documentation, job schedules, mappings, and run books Technical Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Solid understanding of: ETL architecture and data warehousing concepts SAP source systems (ECC / S4HANA, IS-U preferred) Proficiency in: SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA) Data profiling, cleansing, and transformations Experience with: Control‑M, Autosys, or equivalent job schedulers Unix/Linux environments Version control and migration practices Familiarity with utility‑industry data such as: Meter reads & consumption data Billing and revenue Asset and pipeline information (preferred) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a regulated utility environment Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistency Able to support production environments with SLA accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
