We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are eager to learn and work in a dynamic team environment.This is a permanent Offshore position with occasional onshore requirements during times of standby and project requirements. Expected 28 day/28 day rotation.Key ResponsibilitiesAid Project team in procedural development for offshore ROV operationsCreate/Write Mobilization Plans/Managing Mobilizations/on deck operationsCreate/write offshore work instructions as per DOF guidelines and Cenovus InstructionOn shift Operational Control directing operations on deck, as well as subsea, per planned procedures/work instructionsCompleting / Signing off Procedures / work / closeout reports as necessaryCompleting/Writing Field Reports & DPRsCompleting/Generating and facilitating Lift Plans as required for operationsCreating/Facilitating Risk Assessments on board the vessel or onshoreFacilitating and drafting MOC's as per Cenovus and DOF Management of change processLiaising with offshore Client RepresentativeLiaising with Vessel or subsea Teams for aiding onshore project team with tooling designs/creationReview offshore procedures (facilitating marine and subsea departments comments as necessary); Updating documentation as required by projectWitness/executing and participation in Site Integration Testing, and Tooling Factory Acceptance Testing as required by onshore teamWillingness to Learn basic rigging design and procedural writingSupervise/Lead offshore operations (Control) as dictated by Client and DOF Onshore ProceduresCreate Presentations as required for Offshore Operation MeetingsFacilitate Offshore Risk Assessments/Tool Box Talks/meetings as required by project operationsWork with Vessel Department Heads (ROV, Marine, & Survey) in completion of offshore operationsSupervise Mobilization activities as dictated by Project Team and Client operationsSupervise Project Engineers with planning activities during offshore operationsQualifications and ExperienceSubsea IRM experienceSupervisory Experience in Subsea ConstructionSupervisory Experience with offshore operationsEngineering or Technology degree will be considered an asset though not a necessityExperience with controlling vessel operations during subsea (Diving, ROV or Survey, or similar) activities is considered an assetExperience with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel/MS Word etc.)Years of experience will be recognized as a supplement to post secondary educationPreferred Additional SkillsExperience with developing lift plansExperience with facilitating MOC's/HIRA'sExperience with AutoCAD or SimilarBenefitsSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
