ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve the enterprise integration architecture supporting scalability, resilience, and loose coupling across distributed systems Provide architectural oversight through design reviews and technical guidance grounded in hands‑on integration experience Define and champion modern integration patterns with a strong emphasis on asynchronous, event‑driven, and streaming architectures Define, document, and maintain enterprise integration patterns, reference architectures, and standards Define enterprise REST API standards including resource modelling, HTTP semantics, versioning, and long‑term compatibility strategies Establish and govern the API platform using Azure API Management as a shared enterprise capability Guide technology selection across integration platforms, balancing throughput, latency, reliability, and cost Provide technical leadership for complex, cross-domain integration scenarios and mission‑critical production flows Partner with engineering teams to ensure architectures are production‑ready, observable, and aligned with platform and security standards Shape microservices interaction patterns and determine when to use synchronous APIs versus asynchronous or event‑driven integration Work closely with Enterprise Architects, platform teams, application teams, and security partners RequirementsProven experience architecting enterprise‑scale integration solutions across distributed systems Deep expertise in integration architecture patterns including event‑driven, asynchronous messaging, and streaming architectures Hands‑on Java development experience building production‑grade services Practical understanding of Azure infrastructure including AKS, Azure Service Bus, Azure AD, RBAC, APIM, and Azure security principles 5+ years in a Senior Architectural role (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 2+ years in an Agile delivery organization (SAFe certification preferred) Experience designing and building APIs on AKS, integrating with broker‑based messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, Pulsar) Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Pulsar Experience operating integration workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service Background defining enterprise‑wide integration governance or platform operating models Excellent oral and written communication skills BenefitsSalary range: $80,000 – $131,000 per year Comprehensive benefits and retirement programs Performance incentives and continuing education programs Mental health benefits of $5,000 per year Career growth opportunities and product discounts Canadian Tire Profit Sharing and Triangle Learning Academy 5+ years in a Senior Architectural role, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 2+ years in Agile delivery, deep expertise in event‑driven and asynchronous integration patterns, hands‑on Java development, Azure platform experience including AKS and APIM#J-18808-Ljbffr
