The Opportunity We are seeking a well‑rounded Systems Administrator with a strong foundation in Windows systems administration, general Systems Operations, and information security best practices. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable IT systems across on‑premises and/or cloud environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with security teams to protect enterprise infrastructure.Key Responsibilities Systems AdministrationAdminister, maintain, and support Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services)Manage day‑to‑day system operations, including patching, monitoring, backups, and performance tuningDeploy and maintain standard operating system builds and system configurationsAssist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle managementProvide Tier 2/3 escalation support for client, server, and infrastructure issuesSecurity & ComplianceApply security hardening and baseline configurations aligned with best practicesManage identity and access controls (AD, RBAC, least‑privilege access)Assist with vulnerability remediation, patch management, EDR management, and audit readinessMonitor systems for security events and participate in incident responseCollaborate with InfoSec stakeholders to enforce policies and compliance requirementsAutomation & ImprovementUse scripting and automation to improve reliability and efficiencyMaintain documentation for systems, standards, and proceduresIdentify operational risks and recommend improvements to availability, security, and scalabilityRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in systems administration or sysops rolesStrong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environmentsWorking knowledge of information security principles (hardening, access control, patching, incident response)Familiarity with monitoring, patch management, EDR, and other endpoint management toolsAbility to troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networking, and security layersPreferred QualificationsExperience with PowerShell scripting and automationKnowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)Experience supporting compliance or security frameworks (e.g. PCI‑DSS, NIST, ISO , SOC 2)Prior experience partnering closely with InfoSec or Security Operations teamsAdditional SkillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a production environmentClear written and verbal communicationComfortable working independently and as part of a teamCompetitive BenefitsA place where you can take your career in the direction you want to grow and goOpportunities for advancement and career developmentEqual Opportunity & Accommodation Statement We are committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants.
