Senior Project Manager – Buildings Lead complex building projects that shape communities. As a Senior Project Manager – Buildings, you will play a critical leadership role delivering multidisciplinary building projects from concept through completion. Based in Ontario, this role places you at the forefront of client engagement, team leadership, and technical delivery—where your decisions directly influence project outcomes, client trust, and community impact. You will work across diverse building portfolios, collaborating with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver projects that are technically sound, commercially successful, and aligned with WSP’s commitment to excellence. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex building projects across multiple disciplines Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual requirements Serve as the primary client interface, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services Coordinate internal teams, subconsultants, and external partners to drive integrated project delivery Apply project management best practices to ensure quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle Support proposal development, work planning, and resource forecasting for building projects Mentor junior project managers and technical staff, contributing to team growth and capability building Champion WSP’s values, health and safety culture, and commitment to sustainable project outcomes 10+ years of progressive experience managing complex building or infrastructure projects Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects with significant budgets and schedules Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline Professional designation (P.Eng., PMP, or equivalent) or active progress toward certification Strong understanding of project delivery models, contracts, and risk management in the buildings sector Experience working with public and private sector clients in Canada Ability to balance technical oversight with commercial and people leadership responsibilities Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $154,400 MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400 Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
