Director, International Medical Graduate Program Department of Family Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences Full‑time: No | Permanent: No | Work schedule: 0–40 variable hours/week | Expected Start Date: June 15, 2026 Contact: Elizabeth Anna – Qualifications Family physician with experience in education and teaching Interest and/or experience in assessment of IMG learners Hold an MD degree, CFPC certification required Current faculty appointment Department of Family Medicine Eligible for an appointment with Department of Family Medicine at University of Manitoba Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership ability, effective advocacy skills CPSM licensed physician (or eligible) Responsibilities Program Development and Oversight Oversees selection and assessment process for Family Medicine IMG programs (MLPIMG, PRA MB‑FP) including selection criteria, policy development and evaluation. Oversees development and evaluation of academic, clinical and orientation curricula for IMG programs, including oversight of educational programme objectives, competencies and assessment for MLPIMG, PRA MB‑FP and IMG Mentorship programme. Develops, oversees and evaluates appeal processes and policies in coordination with Family Medicine, PGME, and other Max Rady College of Medicine guidelines and policies. Works collaboratively with other Family Medicine programmes to identify opportunities for collaboration and integration.
