Assistant Project Manager – Energy & Digital Services Responsibilities Assist in planning and specification analysis in order to provide clear, trackable and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings from pre‑construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with construction teams, end users and all stakeholders. Preparation of project deliverables including tracking and creating of RFIs, transmitting and tracking of submittals, composing agreements and maintaining project expediting list. Develop, implement and monitor the construction schedule to deliver the project on time and under budget. Administration and management of subcontracts including subcontractor compliance, tracking of changes and deliverables. Interact, coordinate the activities of the Consultants and Contractors, and provide direction to consultant team and contractor, on behalf of the Owner. Assist in day‑to‑day oversight and management of contractors working on site. Plan and co‑ordinate all Health & Safety aspects required for project completion. Develop and implement a communication plan for project, maintain written reports/meeting minutes, and track progress and status of each project. Assist in preparing detailed scopes of work, requests for proposal documents, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billing, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings. Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression. Submit project reports to Senior Project Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated. Qualifications You have a construction related degree/diploma and three+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a Project Management role. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non‑technical audiences. Working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software. Ability to support the project team and help overcome problematic situations.
