This role is suited for candidates with strong structural fundamentals, with the opportunity to contribute at a more senior level based on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze pipe supports, anchors, guides, restraints, and related structural componentsPerform structural calculations for steel supports, base plates, anchorage, and foundationsDesign seismic bracing systems in accordance with applicable building codes and standardsEvaluate loads, structural interfaces, and coordination with mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplinesDevelop calculations, drawings, and engineering deliverables in collaboration with internal teamsProvide technical support to internal stakeholders and customers, including participation in meetings and presentationsSupport field activities, including site visits, troubleshooting, and installation guidanceAdditional ResponsibilitiesLead complex or large-scale projects and provide technical oversightReview and approve calculations and design deliverables for accuracy and complianceMentor junior engineers and contribute to team developmentSupport business development efforts and represent engineering in customer-facing interactionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering5+ years of relevant structural engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredExperience with pipe support design, industrial or building systems is an assetKnowledge of applicable codes (ASCE, IBC, AISC, ACI, NFPA, etc.)Proficiency with structural analysis tools (RAM, RISA, STAAD, or similar)Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel (15–20%)Salary:$80 - 110k (based on experience)Victaulic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming applicants without discrimination based on age, race, colour, national origin, citizenship, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
