Overview The Bilingual Technical Training & Field Service Specialist develops and delivers technical training in Canada and supports troubleshooting of devices when not delivering training. In addition to training-related activities, the role provides technical assistance to colleagues as required, including on‑call support, inspections, repairs, upgrades, and installations in clinics, hospitals, donor centers, and other equipment locations. Responsibilities Deliver technical training to internal Baxter employees and customers in both English and French. Craft and develop instructional materials that support facilitators and participants in instructor‑led and blended learning programs, applying adult learning principles. Assess training program content for adequacy and need, implementing continuous improvements to curricula, materials, and related documentation. Ensure training materials are current and aligned with applicable regulations and company practices. Coordinate course evaluations to acquire participant feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment to component level. Maintain certification of all test equipment in accordance with Baxter operating policies and procedures. Verify all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and document troubleshooting steps following Baxter guidelines. Prepare and manage the training calendar. Manage training documentation, review records for completeness, currency, frequency, and compliance. Efficiently manage expenses and submit monthly for approval. Perform inventory management of training materials, tools, and devices. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, or adult education certification or training. 5+ years of electronics/biomedical training experience in a field‑service environment. 5+ years of presenting material to a class. Demonstrated ability to self‑manage. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French, with strong interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, strong problem‑solving, and analytical abilities. Customer orientation, teamwork skills, and commitment to continuous improvement activities. Travel as needed; able to work flexible hours to meet training needs. Act as a subject‑matter expert for training department staff on course design and delivery. Compensation The estimated salary range for this position is $76,320.00 – $114,480.00 CAD annually. Salary is based on skills, expertise, and experience, with potential incentive compensation under the Management Incentive Compensation Plan.
