Marketing Student – Toronto District, Canadian Buildings Division Position: Marketing StudentLocation: Toronto districtDuration: 4 months, starting September 2026 Responsibilities Create branded materials following PCL’s visual guidelines (brochures, flyers, PPTs, conference materials, posters and banners, etc.). Produce visually compelling marketing content for internal and external audiences, including photography and graphic/document design. Accurately update and maintain marketing assets and collateral, keeping a log of changes. Develop digital collateral such as landing pages and interactive brochures. Interview internal stakeholders or use internal database to develop write‑ups for project profiles, marketing materials, resumes, and other purposes. Assist in data entry and maintain accurate database content on PCL’s internal sales and marketing platform (SAMI). Support marketing activities related to internal and external events and conferences. Assist with special assignments and provide support to the Marketing team as required. Coordinate and execute employee headshots as needed. Review, edit and proofread internal documents and marketing‑related material. Write clear, concise business communications tailored to the appropriate audience, free of spelling and punctuation errors. Manage tasks and priorities within a creative team and project schedules. Develop and maintain strong customer‑focused relationships with internal customers to create branding solutions for products. Qualifications Graphic design skills and creativity. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator (desired). High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent computer, Microsoft Office Suite and research skills. Critical and analytical thinking and the ability to articulate abstract ideas. Ability to handle confidential information and be resourceful. Highly organized, self‑motivated, positive attitude, flexibility and a solution‑provider mentality. Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of digital media and how to integrate it into business processes.
