Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background with experience in delivering and coordinating services in the HVAC industry. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong, long‑lasting, mutually beneficial professional customer relationships. Lead a group of technicians that provide equipment service, maintenance, and repairs for HVAC and mechanical equipment. Provide guidance and support to other HVAC technicians while efficiently managing their own tasks. Assist in solving equipment problems and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences. Provide technical assistance, training, development, motivation and leadership to the team. Assist the Service Manager with project planning, scheduling, and prioritizing of contracts and extra work to ensure service is provided in a timely manner. Collaborate with HVAC Regional Supervisors, Operations & Ainsworth support teams on contractual and service/maintenance issues to ensure client needs are met. Special projects and field recommendations. Performance management. Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable health, safety and environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations. Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures. Assist and review quotes with the Quotation Department. Support Sales team to develop quotes for service and project related work. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications 10 years previous experience as a certified Journeyperson or HVAR related experience and hold a building maintenance qualification. Strong training and presentation skills. Excellent time management, planning and organization skills. A good understanding of Ainsworth products and services. Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence while paying strict attention to detail. Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
