Responsibilities Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans, including shutdowns and turnarounds, to ensure asset reliability and minimal operational disruption. Lead and coordinate the planning team to schedule, prioritize, and execute work orders effectively in alignment with operational requirements. Maintain and optimize the maintenance backlog, asset hierarchies, BOMs, and planning data within the CMMS to improve efficiency and planning accuracy. Build and manage multi‑year maintenance programs and budgets, ensuring cost control and sustained asset performance. Ensure availability of materials, tools, spare parts, and contractor resources through close collaboration with Supply Chain and effective inventory management. Work closely with operations, execution, and reliability teams to align priorities, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support successful maintenance execution. Monitor, analyze, and report on key planning and scheduling performance indicators to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure all planning activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, promoting best practices and a strong safety‑first culture. Key Skills & Knowledge University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered. Registered Engineer (PEO) status or eligibility to register is an asset. At least ten (10) years of related experience in maintenance or asset management in gold milling, mineral processing or heavy industrial. At least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership position. Extensive experience with crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, flotation, leaching, and gold recovery circuits. Experience with condition monitoring technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
