Ensures that insight output is accurate, scalable, and executive-ready, while building strong foundational credit risk and analytics capability.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards covering portfolio performance, credit quality, losses, PCL, vintages, and key risk indicatorsSupport recurring and ad-hoc packages in other formats for senior management and governance forumsEnsure consistency of metrics, definitions, and presentation across all outputs2. Data Preparation, Validation & Quality ControlExtract, transform, and prepare data using SQL and SAS and/or PythonPerform data reconciliations and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliabilityProactively identify data issues, breaks, or inconsistencies and support remediation3. Analytics & Insight SupportSupport portfolio segmentation analysis, trend monitoring, and diagnostic analyticsAssist with ad-hoc analytical requests and deep-dive investigations led by the Director or Senior ManagerBuild understanding of key credit risk drivers across unsecured lending portfolios4. Governance, Controls & DocumentationSupport OSFI, Internal Audit, and internal governance requests by providing data extracts, reconciliations, and supporting analysisMaintain clear documentation of data sources, logic, assumptions, and calculation methodologiesEnsure all processes align with internal controls and audit expectationsWork closely with the Senior Manager to understand business context, risk priorities, and stakeholder needsContinuously develop technical capability in Power BI, SQL, and SAS/PythonContribute to process standardization, documentation, and automation initiativesDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:1–2 years of experience in credit risk analytics, business intelligence, or financial analyticsStrong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and comfort working with large datasetsClear communicator, able to explain data and findings succinctlyWorking knowledge of SQL requiredExposure to Power BI requiredExposure to SAS and/or Python is strongly preferredExposure to unsecured lending products (Credit Cards, Line of Credit, Overdraft Protection) is strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or related field) preferredGraduate degree considered as an assetWhat’s in it for you?An inclusive & collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success!We offer a competitive rewards package: Performance bonus, Employee Share Ownership Program, and Pension Plan Matching, Health Benefits from day one!Your career matters!
