This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer 2026, it will be a full‑time seasonal role. Role & Responsibilities Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items within their assigned outlet according to the recipes and standards Supervise the training and cross‑training of kitchen members within their outlet Responsible for inventory within their assigned outlet and assisting with orders to Head Chef Ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed in accordance with H&S standards Research, recommend and implement new policies and procedures relating to food preparation Report all maintenance and repair needs to Head Chef Supervise, expedite and participate in food preparation, in accordance with standards of quality, quantity, taste and presentation Check food for taste, temperature and visual appeal Supervise the presentation and return of food Store food items in refrigeration boxes to prevent contamination Ensure the satisfaction of guest requests for special food items Supervise the creation of attractive food displays Promote teamwork inter‑departmentally to ensure ongoing positive relations within the kitchen, front‑of‑house operations along with other departments Be accountable for the safety of all staff and work areas, continually keeping safety top of mind Check orders received for quantity and quality of product Check the quality of raw and cooked food products Assist with staff development and training Required Skills & Qualifications Journeyman’s Red Seal, or equivalent preferred 3 years’ experience in a similar role and sized operation Experience living and working in a remote camp setting or busy ski resort is an asset, but not required Must be an effective leader, manager, trainer, administrator, team builder/player and communicator Proven success in the ability to implement and maintain standards Strong background in banquets, high volume cafeterias or high production kitchen Comfortable delivering a la carte menu service, and banquet/buffet service Creative and innovative personality Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail) The starting wage for this role is $24.00/hour.
