Reporting to the Director of Virtual Care, the Clinical Lead will design and implement robust clinical risk frameworks, evidence‑based policies, and quality assurance processes to ensure our virtual health initiatives meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and compliance. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive clinical risk management policies for digitally enabled healthcare programs. Develop and maintain a virtual care quality management framework, ensuring compliance with evidence‑based guidelines and the Enterprise Quality Framework. Conduct rigorous appraisal of clinical trial data and collaborate with frontline clinicians and subject matter experts to synthesize findings for virtual care standards of care. Lead multidisciplinary teams, both virtually and in person, to implement new clinical protocols and manage change alignment to standards of care. Guide day‑to‑day coordination of deliverables, resolving quality and risk issues as they arise. Produce clear, concise reports and briefing materials for senior leadership and cross‑functional teams on clinical quality and outcomes. Communicate key points effectively to technical, clinical, executive, and external audiences; facilitate meetings to drive consensus on priorities. Monitor developments in legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to digital clinical applications. Provide comprehensive, client‑centered virtual care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up for acute and chronic conditions. Qualifications University degree in nursing or related field; Certificate of Nurse Practitioner (PhD preferred). Active clinical licence in Canada as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. 7+ years of healthcare experience with proven expertise in clinical risk management and quality assurance. Demonstrated excellence applying evidence‑based methodologies and deep understanding of research rigor. Experience leading small teams of varied clinical backgrounds, including budget oversight and project management leadership. Superior oral and written communication skills; expert PowerPoint abilities. Ability to develop business cases, reports, and accompanying analytic models. Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive management of deliverables in fast‑paced environments. Knowledge of Canadian healthcare regulatory frameworks and ecosystem. Well‑developed interpersonal skills and capacity to cultivate relationships at all levels. Nice to Have Previous experience in virtual care and quality improvement management. Prior involvement in digitally‑enabled healthcare or digital health innovation. Benefits & Compensation Full‑time, regular position with competitive pay. Salary range: $120,000‑$154,000 per year (flexible based on experience and geographic region).
