What You’ll Lead You will lead a full team of department heads across fitness, member experience, recovery, food and beverage, kids programming, and facilities. Club support sits behind you. The infrastructure is real. Your primary job is to make the people around you better. Both management and specialist growth tracks exist at Altea — because we know not everyone's path looks the same. The best operators at Altea don't reinvent. They master. What You’ll Own Develop Your Leaders — Recruit well, coach consistently, build succession into the culture. Your team should be able to run at a high level whether you're in the building or not. Protect the Experience — Every touchpoint reflects a standard. You protect it without micromanaging it and address gaps before they become patterns. Run the Operation — Safety, compliance, facility presentation, opening and closing protocols. Not someone else's job. Yours. Deliver the Numbers — Revenue, attrition, utilization, labour efficiency. You don't build the budget but you live inside it, hit your targets, and flag problems early. Build the Brand Locally — You are Altea in your market. Reputation is built one interaction at a time and yours matters as much as any campaign. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of senior operations leadership in a premium fitness, hospitality, or lifestyle environment Experience leading department heads and teams of 100+ A genuine track record of developing people — not just managing them Strong financial literacy — P&L, KPIs, and the ability to act on what the numbers say University degree in a related field preferred Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C, maintained annually Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement The non-negotiables: You lead from the floor. You develop people as a reflex. You hold the standard without being told to. You are humble enough to run someone else's system and hungry enough to run it better than anyone has before. What You’ll Earn This is a senior executive role compensated at a level that reflects the caliber of person we're looking for. Beyond base, you'll receive a performance bonus of up to 15% APB, Employee Stock Option Plan, complimentary membership and a Plus One, 4 weeks vacation plus paid Flex days, cellphone allowance, cost‑plus benefits, and Mat/Pat top‑up.
