We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead the overall operations of our assisted living facility and associated property management portfolio. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, strong financial performance, engaged staff, and the long-term strategic success of the organization. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, results-driven leader with a strong background in seniors housing, health services administration, and multi-unit property management. The Executive Director will serve as the primary representative of the organization, engaging with regulatory bodies, residents, the community, and other external stakeholders. Responsibilities Ensure quality resident-centered care is aligned with applicable legislation, professional standards and health authority requirements. Lead and oversee daily operations including, property management, building maintenance, capital planning, and vendor management, Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Tenancy Legislation and ensure organizational compliance, Develop relationships and work closely with BC Housing, Fraser Health and other areas of government, Develop and manage long-term capital improvement plans, Manage organizational budgets, resources, and fundraising activities to ensure financial sustainability. Participate with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives. Ensure effective recruitment, performance management and development of employees and volunteers. Promote a positive organizational culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and reputation Key Competencies Strong leadership abilities with a proven capacity to inspire teams and drive organizational success. Regulatory and legislative knowledge (assisted living and tenancy legislation) Expertise in process improvement methodologies to optimize operations. Project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and public representation. Strategic thinking combined with analytical skills to make informed decisions that benefit the organization.
