Overview Neo is a technology-focused fintech company building modern financial products that empower Canadians. We’re rapidly scaling and looking for a Product Manager to lead our Fraud squad. The Role As the Product Manager for Fraud, you will own the product strategy for detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud across all Neo products. Working closely with fraud strategists, data scientists, and engineers, you will build and tune rule engines, design experimentation frameworks, and translate data insights into product decisions—all while balancing protection with customer experience. What You'll Be Doing Set a clear product vision for fraud prevention that balances risk reduction with customer trust. Design and optimize fraud detection systems across multiple product surfaces, defining rules, thresholds, and policies. Build experimentation infrastructure and run A/B tests on fraud controls, using statistical rigor to guide decisions. Analyze large transaction datasets, identify patterns, and separate signal from noise to drive strategy. Partner with fraud strategists and data scientists to evaluate and improve models, manage false‑positive/false‑negative trade‑offs, and translate model outputs into product decisions. Own the customer experience side of fraud, resolving legitimate customer disruptions caused by fraud controls. Collaborate across squads to embed fraud controls into new products from day one. Write clear strategy documents, roadmaps, and product briefs to guide teams and stakeholders. Prioritize trade‑offs among fraud loss reduction, customer experience, operational cost, and engineering capacity. Who We're Looking For 2–5+ years of hands‑on PM experience at tech or tech‑forward companies, across PM, Senior, and Lead levels. Strong data skills: comfortable writing queries, reading distributions, and reasoning about statistical significance. Experience in technical optimization spaces such as fraud, logistics, marketplace dynamics, ad tech, pricing, or risk. Proficiency in experimentation and model evaluation, including design of control groups and statistical testing. Focused on customer experience, ensuring safe fraud controls feel simple to users. Systems thinker who can connect high‑level strategy with granular execution. Excellent communicator with clear stories, compelling roadmaps, and presentations for both product and executive audiences. Thrives in ambiguity and fast‑paced priorities. Leads with humility, high standards, and a collaborative mindset. Fintech, payments, or fraud experience is a plus, but strong optimization product experience is valued. Benefits Competitive salary aligned with market ranges, with a blend of cash and equity tailored to individual goals. Equity ownership for full‑time team members, providing direct upside in a fast‑growing company. Health and life insurance, flexible health benefits, and a health & personal spending account. 21 days paid time off plus statutory holidays, with additional personal leave. Short‑term incentive plans (STIPs) to reward high performance. Access to partner discounts, early use of Neo products, and special benefits such as mortgage discounts. Parental leave top‑up and equity vesting during long‑term leave. Company events, huddles, and ongoing professional development. Equal Opportunity Statement We believe in equal opportunity and are committed to creating an inclusive climate where everyone can thrive. Neo Financial is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
