Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Healthcare Canada Public Sector team, focused on British Columbia healthcare customers. This role involves owning customer technical engagements, designing resilient and secure AWS cloud solutions, and acting as a thought leader in the Canadian public sector. Key ResponsibilitiesOwning technical engagements at all organizational levels Removing technical account management barriers Defining implementation and transition architectures Leading RFI and RFP technical responses Helping customers achieve project and overall technical success Assisting strategic solution providers with AWS-oriented definitions and implementations Developing and delivering presentations, discussions, product demos, sample solutions, blog posts, and white papers Working closely with account managers and business developers to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications on the AWS cloud Supporting and promoting AWS consulting and technology partners Gaining industry recognition as a regular attendee, panelist, and keynote speaker at AWS and third-party technology conferences Capturing and sharing knowledge with the broader AWS Solutions Architecture community Basic Requirements10+ years of specific technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) 10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures 10+ years of technology/software sales experience Cloud Technology Certification (Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering) Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals Understanding of government compliance, security frameworks and regulations Experience working in healthcare or with healthcare customers Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) Salary$146,000 – $211,600 CAD annually (Vancouver and Victoria, BC).
