Job Summary Royal Columbian Hospital is looking for clinical Endocrinologist(s). The successful candidate(s) will provide both inpatient and outpatient care. You will work within an established and highly capable team of 7 endocrinologists and have the support of 2 inpatient endocrine nurse practitioners and 1 inpatient diabetes nurse educator. Responsibilities Management of inpatient general endocrinology, including diabetes, pituitary, neuroendocrine, and thyroid conditions. Provide the highest standards of safe clinical and professional practice. Maintain a strong collegial link with members of the hospital staff involved in day‑to‑day care of patients. Lead and support initiatives for glycemic control and diabetes education. Supervise, mentor, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in weekly endocrinology continuing medical education rounds. Provide on‑call coverage within the established endocrinology on‑call roster. Qualifications Be eligible for FRCPC in Endocrinology & Metabolism. Be eligible for licensure in British Columbia. Additional training beyond fellowship is not required, however a special area of interest would be an asset. Eligible for a full license with CPSBC.
