Position Summary This role provides strategic direction for benefits and retirement/savings programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. The role identifies and implements strategies to improve program outcomes and associate experiences.What you’ll do This role provides enterprise-wide strategic and administrative direction in accordance with legislation and industry best practices on all insured and non‑insured health and dental programs, retirement plans, and savings plans sponsored locally and in collaboration with our global partners. It may involve collaborating with management on wellbeing initiatives (including disability management) that impact the benefits scope for program implementation.The role also monitors, analyzes, and identifies areas of program and process improvement to address legislative gaps, cost‑mitigation opportunities, and best practices in all programs to impact associate program experience. This includes partnering with our Finance partners on accrual, forecasting and financial planning to optimise program premium / cost experience. Participation in rate negotiation on insured products and fees associated with non‑insured program offerings with vendors may also be required.Establishing and maintaining professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as is managing vendor contracts to ensure commitments and performance meet or exceed expectations. The role may involve providing advice and guidance to teams on program change management to manage potential legal or business risks.Additionally, this role ensures adherence to all legislative requirements in health, dental and wellbeing programmes as well as retirement and savings programmes as needed. Overseeing communication and education on programmes and policies, and managing a high‑performing team, may include conducting audits, providing backup support, training, and development. This role supports the governance process as it relates to the company‑wide Retirement Committee overseeing all assets under the applicable programmes.
