What You’ll Be Doing Work as part of a team to ensure the Production Facilities have the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time. Create purchase orders using best practices to support the weekly and daily production plans. Communicate internally and externally with stakeholders, and ensure inventory availability for JIT production. Act as first point of contact for suppliers and internal warehouse and provide resolution for inventory and delivery issues. Support product lifecycle of promotional and stocked goods, ingredients and packaging materials from launch to ramp down ensuring availability and minimizing financial liability to the organization. Identify and elevate risk (inventory availability, supplier capacity, etc.) to team leader and support with analysis, recommendation and execution of solution. Identify appropriate SKU substitutions and provide documentation to support the cross‑functional approval process (Culinary, QA, Operations, Finance) while meeting all inventory delivery deadlines. Foster positive and effective working relationships with supplier network and internal teams. Support and maintain Fresh Prep quality standards and elevate risk and non‑compliance appropriately. Support root cause analysis and issue resolution for weekly KPI reporting (vendor invoices, credits, inventory discrepancies, stock write‑off, etc.). Actively support development and implementation of internal continuous improvement projects, individually and as part of a working team (cost savings, avoidance, supply‑chain efficiency, etc.). Maintain systems data accuracy and support new systems implementation. Support training and onboarding of new team members. Other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For 1–3 years of experience in planning, buying, and inventory management, ideally in grocery, food service, or a related industry. Certificate/diploma in Supply Chain or a related field is a benefit. Excellent computer skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated track record of effective problem‑solving and decision‑making. Consistent and effective attention to detail, maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills. Ability to build and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with peers, cross‑functional teams, and suppliers. Demonstrated professional proficiency in core purchasing functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Proficiency in both English and French is required to support procurement and production across Canada; proficiency in Mandarin is considered a strong asset. What You Can Expect A hybrid work arrangement with time split between working from home and from our Saint‑Laurent, QC facility. A Monday to Friday work schedule (either 7 am to 3 pm Eastern, or 8 am to 4 pm Eastern); the role includes some weekend and statutory holiday coverage (approx. 5 days per year).
