Position: Senior Tax Manager, Domestic Tax As a Senior Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you will own client relationships within a wide variety of industries and collaborate with colleagues across service lines such as Assurance, Advisory and Specialty Tax. Responsibilities Client Experience: Work directly with clients, taking ownership of their experience, and focusing on building and strengthening client–firm relationships. Your expertise will be key in making connections and enhancing client services. Strategic Tax Planning: Develop strategic tax planning solutions tailored to clients’ business needs. Tax Advisory: Help clients navigate Canadian tax matters, including reorganizations, rollovers, windups, amalgamations, succession and estate planning, and reviewing T1, T2 and T3 returns. Mentorship: Coach and mentor a team of colleagues on tax compliance, helping them understand client needs and options. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the tax practice by understanding client needs and identifying opportunities to introduce diverse offerings. Qualifications CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or a Master's degree in Taxation. Ability to develop and present new ideas, strategies, and tax solutions with a focus on exceptional client service. Interest in pursuing business development opportunities to grow the tax practice. Recognition as a technical expert in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance. Willingness to support others in ongoing professional growth. Compensation and Benefits Salary information: current range for this role is $104,700–$184,200 (Kamloops, BC); ranges may differ by location. We offer profit sharing, flexible days, RRSP contributions, firmwide holiday closure, wellness benefits, concierge-like benefits, and work-from-anywhere options in summer for four weeks, among other benefits. Compensation is reviewed regularly to reflect market data and individual contributions. Work Model Our culture emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.
