Equation Staffing is hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team and oversee commercial mechanical in Calgary AB. The Project Manager is responsible from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards. This role works closely with estimators, site supervisors, foreman, subcontractors, and clients. Salary: $90k - $110k based on experience Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8am to 4:30pm (some additional hours needed from time to time) Location: Calgary AB Key Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial plumbing/mechanical projects from start to finish. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to confirm scope and requirements. Develop and control project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and work plans. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Track costs and approve invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Liaise with site supervisors, field crews, general contractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Ensure compliance with Alberta Building Code, safety regulations, and company standards; promote site safety. Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks, issues, and RFIs. Maintain strong client and GC relationships; ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Oversee deficiencies, commissioning, turnover documentation, and warranty support. Qualifications & Experience 3–7+ years of Project Management experience in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar). Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Own Vehicle to travel to sites.
