We are seeking an energetic Claims Coordinator to join our client on a permanent basis. This position will involve assisting clients who have been displaced from their homes. The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision, work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and will be able to show sensitivity and professionalism to their customers. Role & Responsibilities Address customer claims, gather requirements, inputting information to the system, follow up on claims and required information. Managing incoming calls. Effectively communicate (both written and spoken). Support customers in understanding the services and processes within an insurance claim and by providing exceptional customer service. Assist in selecting suitable services that meet our clients’ requirements. Prepare leases, contracts, payment authorization and other paperwork as required. Liaise between policyholders, property managers and insurance adjusters. Respond quickly to changing requirements. Treat customers with empathy and professionalism, answering their questions and explaining the process. Provide monthly statements such as outstanding payments from clients. Requirements Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Skilled conflict management, service focused and solution-driven mindset. Experience in a service-based industry such as hospitality, real-estate or travel & tourism would be considered an asset. A post-secondary degree or diploma is considered an asset but not required. Desire to solve problems, help others, and work with urgency on multiple priorities. Benefits Permanent and full-time. On-site parking is provided.
