Job OverviewAs the Director of Information Technology Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and operational support functions. This role ensures that IT systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs, with a strong focus on service delivery, performance, and operational excellence. It combines operational leadership with deep technical engagement, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and performing optimally. ResponsibilitiesPartner with other IT leaders to support enterprise initiatives while ensuring the effective management of day‑to‑day operations—including cloud platforms, networks, servers, firewalls, virtualization platforms, and end‑user services—within a regulated environment. Execute the IT strategic plan in collaboration with the rest of the IT Leadership team, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems and services. Oversee IT service management processes aligned to ITIL (incident, problem, change, and request management). Establish and monitor service levels (SLAs) and key performance metrics. Provide support to the Corporate IT services team for Cyber Security and Business Intelligence. Optimize IT Helpdesk and review existing and proposed departmental processes, suggesting improvements and mitigating risks to support a strong compliance culture. Remain current with technology, research, recommend, and implement new technology products and services to add value to our customers. Manage relationships with infrastructure, cloud and managed services vendors. Monitor operational spend and work with procurement to ensure cost‑effective sourcing of technology solutions. Ensure effective and efficient IT policies and procedures are developed and followed to continuously drive efficiency across the department. Lead infrastructure and operations‑related projects, including system upgrades and deployments. Promote a performance‑based culture within IT that is focused on delivering excellent customer service to all departments. Obtain and maintain applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions as required. Provide flexibility to support a 24/7 operation. QualificationsUniversity degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum 8 years of experience in an IT management‑level role for a medium‑sized organization, with at least 5 years in a senior manager role. Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, PowerShell, MS Azure or AWS Cloud platform. Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs). Familiarity with Network Operations Center (NOC) tools, backup, disaster recovery. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent experience. CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or equivalent experience. ITIL Foundation Level certification (asset). Knowledge of casino operations (asset). Knowledge of AGCO regulations regarding casino operations (asset). Outstanding communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships and develop a high‑performing team.
