We are currently seeking Civil or Mechanical Engineering Students to work on some of the most exciting projects underway in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas. The successful candidates will be exposed to many practical construction functions during their work term. We are looking for students available for 4, 8 or 12‑month terms starting in September 2026. Here's how a Engineering/Technical Student for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Edmonton Buildings contributes to our team: Responsibilities Report deficiencies by going on site visits Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work Coordinate and update field drawings, specifications, and project schedules Participate in project meetings and work closely with seasoned project professionals Conduct trade contractor quote reviews Visit projects and job sites, take progress photos, and monitor deficiency logs Perform bid day assignments and overall bid document control Assist with on‑site problem solving Qualifications Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting. Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp will be considered an asset. Access to a clean, reliable vehicle.
