The position is hybrid, requiring presence onsite three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in EA Vancouver.Your Responsibilities The Technical Artist (TA) develops pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all EA SPORTS titles. They partner with development teams to build shared, scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include:Developing content production tools, pipelines, and asset optimization processes.Integrating and maintaining pipelines and workflows for artists.Managing technical issues across projects and driving resolution.Providing technical guidance to art and engineering teams.Your QualificationsAt least 3+ years of cinematic/games production experience.A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.Strong communication skills across audiences: artists, engineers, managers.Proficient scripting/programming in Python or C# (C++ is a bonus, but is not required).Experience with 2D/3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, Houdini.Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on testing and debugging technical issues.Experience with asset optimization techniques.Willingness to tackle new challenges and innovate solutions.A passion for games.Pay Transparency – North America Compensation And Benefits The following compensation range reflects the expected pay for this role in the specified location.
